Jade started ballet at the age of three in Singapore and upon moving to Cairns with her family in 1996, continued her training at Turning Pointe Dance Studios. In 2005, at just age fourteen, Jade relocated to Melbourne to train at The Australian Ballet School. In 2008 she continued her dance training at Queensland University of Technology graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance Performance). Professional dance credits include Launch Pad (Expressions Dance Company), In One Day (Melbourne Ballet Company). Jade’s passion for her craft has seen her embrace all aspects of the theatre and performance world and led to her musical theatre debut in the Australian tour of The King and I (Opera Australia and GFO). Other credits include the iconic role of ‘Victoria the White Cat’ in the Australia/New Zealand tour of Cats (Lunchbox Theatrical Productions & The Really Useful Group), The Love for Three Oranges (Opera Australia) and most recently Evita (Opera Australia and GFO). Jade is very excited to be a part of the Australian company of West Side Story.
